7. Student page
This is the "launching off" page that your students will use to complete activities, download documents, access links, complete assessments, etc.

Attention Students!
Please follow the directions for each activity.

1. Go to Kids.NationalGeographic.com
  • Click on the country you and your partner chose.
  • Read through the facts and look at the pictures
  • Then click on the tab that says video and watch it.
  • Make sure to take notes
2. Go to Kids.yahoo.com
  • Look for your country's flag and click on it.
  • On the top of the page there is a purple tab with words on it.
  • Click on the word currencies and find out the name of your country's 'money.'
  • Make sure to take notes
3. Students that have certain countries need to see the teacher because I have a website with some more facts.
  • Go to Fun Facts and find your country's name
  • Then read your country's paragraph.
  • Take notes

4. Go to Factmonster.com
  • Find your country and click on it.
  • On the left side there is a blue column.
  • Read about their facts such as the language, holidays, climate.
  • Pick the important facts to place on your power point.
5. Go to We are multicolored
  • Make your own flag.
  • Print it and share it to the class.
6. Power Point
  • Click on the start button
  • Click on Microsoft Power Point
  • Click on the slide and start typing your notes
  • Look at my sample Power Point for questions
  • To insert pictures, click on insert
  • Click on the folder you saved your pictures to.
  • Click the picture and it will be on the slide.

  • There are 3 sections.
  • Complete them in order and follow the directions.
